Eric Rudie: President, Brown Mackie College – Albuquerque

Eric Rudie is the Campus President of Brown Mackie College – Albuquerque. His responsibilities include directing and supporting the educational efforts of the college’s dedicated staff and faculty; creating and promoting an effective educational environment; and building strong relationships with local businesses and civic leaders.
Rudie has over 24 years of experience in private postsecondary education. Prior to coming to Brown Mackie College – Albuquerque, he served as President of Brown Mackie College – Michigan City. Rudie served as the Corporate Director of Compliance for Summit Career College in Colton, CA. He also served as the Executive Director and Corporate Director of Operations for Summit Career College over his 18-year tenure, responsible for managing every aspect of the college’s operations as it grew from seven students to over 1,200. He also served as the Assistant Director of Canterbury Career Schools, in Colton, CA.
As a private consultant, Rudie has shared his professional knowledge and experience with a variety of colleges and universities in the areas of educational management, curricular development, and regulatory compliance and accreditation.
Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama from the University of California, Irvine and has served on a various boards and accrediting agency teams as an Education Specialist, Team Chair and Management Specialist.
Born and raised in Southern California, Eric enjoys golf, reading, and gourmet cooking. He resides in the City of Albuquerque with his wife Lisa and 2 dogs, Tucker and Kibbles.
